S&C Global Network - AI - Life Sciences -Data Science Consultant

Accenture seeks a Life Sciences Data Science Consultant to deliver healthcare and life sciences analytics solutions for global clients. The job description also calls the position “S&C Global Network - AI - Healthcare Analytics - Consultant.” It is a full-time Team Lead/Consultant role, listed with 5–10 years of experience and a stated location of Bangalore/Gurgaon.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven strategic recommendations, manage client communications and present findings to stakeholders.
• Design and implement generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI and traditional AI/ML solutions for healthcare and life sciences business challenges.
• Support consulting projects individually or within small to medium-sized teams, contributing to strategy, implementation, process design and change management. Collaborate across data engineering, data science and business intelligence.
• Apply life sciences domain knowledge, design thinking and business process optimization; develop methodologies, research and points of view. Support proposals, operating-model assessments and transformational change plans.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
• Extensive GenAI expertise and a track record of creating and deploying GenAI and agentic AI solutions. At least 4 years of successful Life Sciences, Pharma or Healthcare project experience.
• Understanding of commercial, clinical, real-world evidence and electronic medical record data; hands-on experience with datasets such as Komodo, RAVE, IQVIA, Truven or Optum.
• Experience building and deploying statistical or machine learning models, including segmentation, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series techniques and optimization. Proficiency in Python, SQL and working with large datasets; experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling language models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills. R, Spark, Databricks, visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or Spotfire, and stakeholder management are also identified as useful skills.
