Role Purpose: Capco is seeking a Data Science professional to join their team in Chennai. The role focuses on leveraging data through collection, labeling, curation, and feature engineering to enhance model performance and deploying AI applications into production environments. Responsibilities: - Data Management: Perform data collection, labeling, curation, structuring, and feature engineering. - Analytical Modeling: Apply analytical methods to address business questions and improve assets and models. - Production Deployment: Support the deployment of AI applications using CI/CD pipelines, AirFlow, and MlFlow; establish model monitoring and drift detection. - Automation: Automate modeling pipelines and promote best practices in testing and automation. Qualifications: - Education: Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering) is required; a PhD is a plus. Candidates with strong analytical skills from other backgrounds are welcome. - Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in data science, preferably within the financial sector. - Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Pandas, Hadoop/Spark, and web scraping. Extensive experience in Python programming and deploying AI solutions. - Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with both classical machine learning and generative AI. - Soft Skills: Fluent in English with effective communication skills for business stakeholders. Ability to work in an Agile Scrum team within a multicultural environment.
