ML Data Associate-II, Artificial General Intelligence Data Services

Amazon seeks an ML Data Associate-II in Chennai to produce high-quality labeled and human-insight data supporting the responsible development of generative AI and large language models. The role includes foundational labeling work, such as dialogue evaluation, across text, speech, audio, image and video data.

Responsibilities

• Apply provided guidelines and in-house tools to deliver labeled data that meets quality KPIs while maintaining strict confidentiality and following policies for securing customer information.
• Make sound judgments when information is ambiguous or incomplete, switch between task requirements, and support daily deliverables across multiple task types.
• Analyze root causes and error patterns in labeling outputs, propose quality improvements, identify issues in standard operating procedures and tools, and help resolve operational blockers and internal queries.

Basic qualifications:

• An associate’s degree or related work experience. The posting calls for C1+ or equivalent fluency in a language specified by location and locale but does not name that language.
• Strong business writing and advanced reading comprehension; analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, research and synthesis skills; attention to detail; and the ability to follow detailed instructions across projects.
• Experience managing cross-department stakeholder relationships and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.

Preferred qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, subject to location-specific variation; 2+ years of professional work experience demonstrating task execution; and 2–3 years of project coordination or management experience for support-function teams.
