Lead Specialist, Technology Solutions - Agentic Automations

Intro: The Lead Specialist, Technology Solutions - Agentic Automations is a senior solution leader in Pearson’s Office of the CTO (AgentOps) responsible for end-to-end discovery, design and delivery of enterprise-scale agentic AI and intelligent automation solutions. The role bridges business strategy, process transformation and AI engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes and enable human–AI collaboration across the global organization. The position is based in Chennai and is a full-time role (Req ID: 24882). Core responsibilities: - Business analysis & opportunity discovery: lead requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops and process discovery; document use cases, process maps, success criteria and value-realization metrics; quantify ROI, productivity, quality and cost objectives. - Solution design & agent architecture: design intelligent workflows, multi-agent systems and semi-autonomous processes; define agent behaviors, orchestration patterns, decision frameworks, escalation and human-in-the-loop controls; produce PDDs, SDDs, user journeys, process flows, system interaction diagrams, agent behavior models and data/integration specs. - Delivery & implementation: lead functional design and delivery with developers and AI engineers; design for autonomous/semi-autonomous agents, exception handling, escalation paths, feedback loops and continuous learning; drive reuse of components, templates, prompts and accelerators; support rollout, change management and operational readiness. - Stakeholder leadership: act as primary liaison across business, delivery teams and executives; communicate vision, risks and implementation approaches; mentor team members and promote best practices. Risk, governance & success metrics: - Responsible AI & governance: ensure compliance with Pearson’s Responsible AI framework; implement controls to mitigate hallucination, prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse and privacy/compliance risks; support auditability, explainability and regulatory requirements. - Measure impact: track productivity improvements, cost reductions, time savings, automation utilization, employee and customer experience outcomes, and enterprise adoption and reusability of solutions. Required qualifications & expertise: - Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related (Master’s preferred). - Experience: 8+ years in technology consulting, digital transformation, automation, AI or enterprise solution delivery with proven experience leading cross-functional automation/AI initiatives and discovery workshops. - Technical/functional expertise: deep understanding of agentic AI, autonomous systems, intelligent process automation, enterprise integration patterns, AI governance, enterprise architecture and business process analysis.
