About this role
The ISAAC Sim Engineer will focus on robotics simulation and product development activities. The role involves high-fidelity physics and environment modeling, reinforcement learning, and foundation model architecture. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- High-Fidelity Physics & Environment Modeling using Isaac Sim and Isaac Labs.
- Reinforcement Learning & Foundation Model Architecture using Isaac Gym and GR00T.
- ROS2 Middleware Development & Hardware Interface Integration.
- Python Automation, Tooling & Synthetic Data Generation (SDG).
- Containerization, GPU Orchestration & DevOps using Docker and NVIDIA Container Toolkit.
- Sim-to-Real Gap Analysis, Virtual Validation & Deployment Handoff.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience (Senior level).
- Bachelor degree.
- Proficiency in NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Labs, and NVIDIA Omniverse.
- Experience with Physics & RL Frameworks: Isaac Gym (PhysX / Warp), PyTorch, TensorRT.
- Knowledge of Foundation Models: NVIDIA Project GR00T (Humanoid / General-purpose Embodied AI).
- Expertise in Middleware & Communication: ROS2 (Humble / Iron / Jazzy), DDS.
- Programming & Scripting: Python (v3.8+ / v3.10+), C++ (C++17 / C++20), Bash.
- Scene Description & Assets: Universal Scene Description (USD), URDF, MJCF, OpenUSD APIs.
- Containerization & Computer: Docker, NVIDIA Container Toolkit (nvidia-docker2), CUDA Toolkit.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions / GitLab CI, Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 / 22.04 LTS).
