As a Senior Data Platform Engineer at EY, you will serve as a Technology Lead within the Cloud Engineering team, responsible for delivering IT projects for global clients. You will architect and manage Databricks and Snowflake infrastructure on Azure and AWS, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective deployments. Your role involves designing and implementing DataOps and MLOps pipelines for automated data ingestion, model training, and deployment. You will automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep and integrate these platforms with enterprise CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities include enforcing data governance, optimizing cluster performance, ensuring security best practices, and driving DevSecOps adoption. You will also lead incident response, document architecture, and mentor teams on platform best practices. Required qualifications include a BE/B.Tech/MCA degree with 4 to 8 years of industry experience, hands-on expertise in Databricks administration, cloud computing (Azure/AWS), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). You must be proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell) and infrastructure-as-code tools. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or CKA. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global delivery environment.
