About this role
Intro: The AI / ML Engineer at Accenture is responsible for designing, building and operating production-ready AI applications and systems that leverage generative AI models and cloud-based AI services. The role emphasizes integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into solutions and can include work across deep learning, neural networks, conversational agents/chatbots and image processing. The position is based at the Chennai office.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI applications and production-quality pipelines for cloud and on-premises deployment.
- Integrate generative AI models, particularly LLMs, into solutions and ensure seamless operation within application pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize AI models and systems to maintain high performance and reliability in production.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate project requirements into technical designs and implementations.
- Actively participate in team discussions, contribute solutions to work-related problems and document technical processes.
- Mentor and assist junior team members and work toward becoming an SME.
Required qualifications & experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; posting notes minimum 3 years working with LLMs.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical experience applying generative AI.
- Experience designing and deploying AI applications using cloud AI services and on-premises infrastructure.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and neural network architectures and building production AI pipelines.
Good-to-have / preferred:
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Agentic AI Architecture.
