Lenovo is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the team building Qira, a next-generation hybrid AI platform spanning Windows, Android, and cloud environments. This role focuses on driving the architecture, design, and platform integration of AI experiences to deliver scalable, performant, and secure systems for cross-device ecosystems. Responsibilities include leading the technical vision for a unified UI/UX foundation, architecting scalable UI frameworks to reduce redundant engineering, and establishing engineering standards and performance baselines. The successful candidate will partner with globally distributed teams, bridge design and engineering to translate complex interactions into technical components, and mentor junior engineers. Requirements include 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior architectural role, and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Candidates must possess strong cross-platform expertise (React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform) and deep native platform depth in either Android (Kotlin) or Windows (C#, WinUI, or WPF). A proven track record of architecting multi-system solutions and delivering initiatives from concept to deployment is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience designing interfaces for generative and agentic AI interactions, specifically managing time-to-first-token latency and integrating local or cloud-based LLMs. The role requires the ability to drive technical alignment across time zones and a passion for system design excellence.
