The Software Development Manager (SDM) for the Partner Growth Experience (PGX) team will lead a group of 10+ Software Development Engineers in building intelligent, AI-powered systems. The role focuses on the intersection of Selling Partner Negotiations and Selling Partner Experience, specifically delivering Agentic AI capabilities such as the Delphi Selling Partner Chat Solution and scalable negotiation technology. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end delivery across a modern tech stack, driving multi-agent orchestration, and implementing proactive recommendations. The SDM will collaborate with Applied Scientists, Product Managers, and senior leadership to translate complex GenAI and negotiation challenges into actionable engineering plans. Key responsibilities include: - Leading a team of 10+ SDEs and driving hiring efforts. - Owning the delivery of Agentic AI and negotiation systems. - Influencing technical direction at the intersection of retail strategy and engineering. - Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define product strategy. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of engineering team management experience. - 7+ years of professional engineering experience. - 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services. - Proficiency in full software development life cycle practices, including coding standards, testing, and operations. - Experience in system design, architecture, reliability, and scaling. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and technical teams. - Proven experience in recruiting, mentoring, and coaching software engineers to improve team effectiveness.
