NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the GPU Fabric Networking group, focusing on system software that enables efficient communication between GPUs for AI, deep learning, and high-performance computing platforms. Responsibilities include building and maintaining system software, participating in the architecture of next-generation communication hardware and software, and driving platform bring-up and validation for NVLink-based GPU systems. You will triage complex software, firmware, and networking issues, contribute to performance optimization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience. Proficiency in C/C++ programming, debugging, and problem-solving. Experience with shell scripting, device driver development, and systems programming. Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals, computer architecture, and multi-threaded application development. Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, Ethernet, InfiniBand, RDMA/RoCE, and fabric performance analysis. Experience with virtualization technologies like KVM, QEMU, or Hyper-V. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NVIDIA GPU systems, NVLink, NVSwitch, CUDA, and large-scale AI/HPC clusters (e.g., NVIDIA GB200 NVL72). Knowledge of large-scale AI system architecture, PCIe, memory hierarchy, DMA, and distributed training. Experience with server management, data center operations, cluster provisioning, and software quality assurance techniques.
