About this role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer within the Data & Analytics team at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the training infrastructure for Large Language Models (LLMs). This role requires a deep understanding of GPU architecture, machine learning principles, and distributed computing to lead Gen AI initiatives in a cross-functional environment. Responsibilities include maximizing GPU utilization, managing cloud-based resources (AWS, Azure, GCP), implementing containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and integrating big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark into ML workflows. You will also adopt MLOps practices to manage the end-to-end ML lifecycle and collaborate with data scientists to troubleshoot hardware and optimize large-scale model training. Required qualifications include a degree in BSC, BCA, or B.Tech and at least 4 years of relevant experience in managing infrastructure for training large-scale ML models. Candidates must possess hands-on experience with LLMs, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), cloud computing, and distributed systems, along with prior involvement in Gen AI projects. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical project aspects are essential.
