Senior Associate - Forward Deployed AI Engineer

JPMorganChase seeks a Senior Associate - Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Bengaluru to turn regulatory and operational needs into practical solutions for Compliance and Risk functions. The role combines stakeholder engagement, business and data analysis, solution design, rapid prototyping, and hands-on delivery. The schedule is full-time with an evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Operations stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, regulatory requirements, and desired outcomes. Document requirements and use cases, and map current- and future-state processes.
• Assess process, data, analytics, automation, and AI options. Independently design, prototype, test, validate, and deliver solutions such as copilots, agents, workflow automation, knowledge assistants, and decision-support tools.
• Convert business requirements into solution designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans. Coordinate with Technology, Data, Architecture, and Control partners to implement solutions within enterprise standards.
• Support demonstrations, user testing, training, feedback collection, and adoption. Define success metrics, evaluate performance against business objectives, and align deliverables with regulatory, governance, privacy, and risk-management requirements.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, plus 5+ years of experience delivering business, technology, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong business analysis, data analysis, process improvement, business process reengineering, problem-solving, stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and presentation skills. Experience independently delivering solutions with end users and managing assigned workstreams through implementation.
• Experience with large language models, generative AI, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, and enterprise AI platforms; familiarity with knowledge graphs and graph-based approaches.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Crime, Regulatory Reporting, Surveillance, Controls, Audit, or related areas; delivering AI copilots, knowledge assistants, workflow automation, or decision-support solutions; or working in large, highly regulated organizations.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and product-oriented operating models, and experience supporting organizational change and technology adoption.
