About this role
An Engineering company seeks a Senior Agentic AI Engineer in Bangalore to build machine learning systems that support researchers’ collaboration and publication workflows. This is a full-time role advertised at ₹35–50 LPA, with an overall experience range of 5–10 years.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable ML systems, services and APIs. Deploy transformer-based large language models to production with attention to reliability, scalability and performance.
- Build data pipelines to collect, process and prepare datasets. Work with infrastructure teams to support ML workflows, and collaborate with data scientists, researchers and other teams to integrate ML solutions into existing software.
- Optimize ML algorithms and systems, and document services, APIs and data pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing multi-component systems, alongside the advertised 5–10 years of overall experience.
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language, preferably Python; an understanding of SQL, database design and software testing fundamentals.
- Familiarity with generative-AI ML approaches and experience building agentic architectures with LangGraph or similar libraries.
- Experience managing and executing technology products, plus communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with high-volume, highly available web applications, cloud environments or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP or Azure, and production deployment of small and large open-source LLMs using containerization tools such as Docker.
