About this role
Meraki Labs seeks a QA Tester to help ensure web and mobile products across its portfolio companies are reliable and ready for users. The role combines hands-on manual testing with AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage and efficiency. It is an on-site, full-time position in Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory tests; use AI tools to generate test cases, find edge cases, and accelerate regression testing.
- Document and track bugs, work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes, and conduct API, cross-browser, cross-device, and compatibility testing.
- Contribute to test plans, strategies, and acceptance criteria; maintain test documentation, participate in release readiness and sign-off, and evaluate new AI-based QA tools.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on manual software testing experience; knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC, with experience writing structured test cases and bug reports.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools, or strong willingness to learn them; working knowledge of bug-tracking and test-management tools; basic API-testing knowledge and understanding of web and mobile application architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Preferred
Basic automation scripting, Agile/Scrum experience, prompt engineering for AI-based test generation, SQL for backend data validation, or experience testing AI/ML-powered features. The work spans portfolio startups in fintech, AI, deep tech, and edtech.
