Synopsys is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead and scale its enterprise AI Governance operating model. This role is critical in shaping how the company governs, deploys, and scales AI technologies across its 30,000-employee organization, ensuring responsible and secure adoption. You will report to the Head of AI Governance, Program Management and Chief of Staff for Strategic Missions & Technologies (SMT). Responsibilities include: Establishing and scaling governance processes for GenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI; partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Compliance, Engineering, Product, IT) to evaluate AI technologies; operationalizing frameworks like NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001; defining governance patterns for Agentic AI systems; driving AI Academy initiatives for workforce literacy; and developing executive dashboards for AI adoption and risk management. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; 12+ years of experience leading complex enterprise-scale technical programs in software, semiconductor, or AI environments; proven experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, or technology risk programs; strong understanding of GenAI and LLM adoption challenges; and experience with portfolio management tools like Jira and Confluence. This is an on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular collaboration with US-based teams, including overlap with Pacific Time hours.
