About this role
As Principal AI Engineer, you will own Smartsheet's AI platform architecture—designing the agent harness and sub-agent framework, knowledge and context graph systems, ingestion and retrieval/grounding patterns, shared agent frameworks, and governance. You will also lead rapid prototypes and serve as the primary technical lead for strategic partners (Databricks, AWS, Anthropic) to translate early-access capabilities into platform decisions.
