About this role
Pearson’s AgentOps team is seeking a Lead Specialist, Technology Solutions - Agentic Automations to lead discovery, design and delivery of enterprise-scale agentic AI and intelligent automation solutions. Based in Bangalore, this full-time role connects business strategy, process transformation and AI engineering to create measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, process discovery and stakeholder workshops. Document use cases, process maps and success criteria; identify opportunities for autonomous agents and AI-driven workflows, with defined ROI, productivity, quality and cost objectives.
- Design multi-agent systems and intelligent processes, defining agent behaviors, orchestration, decision frameworks, escalation and human-in-the-loop controls. Produce process and solution design documents, user journeys, system interaction diagrams, agent behavior models, and data and integration specifications.
- Lead functional design and implementation with architects, developers and AI engineers. Incorporate human approvals, exception handling and feedback loops; support rollout, change management and operational readiness. Build reusable prompts, agent templates, automation accelerators and design standards.
- Coordinate business stakeholders, delivery teams and leadership; communicate value and risks, resolve dependencies and mentor colleagues. Partner with program managers to track adoption, efficiency, cost savings, employee and customer experience, delivery quality and ROI. Integrate solutions with monitoring, telemetry and governance platforms.
- Apply Pearson’s Responsible AI framework and risk-based governance, addressing hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse, privacy and compliance. Work with security, legal, privacy and risk teams on auditability, explainability and enterprise readiness.
Required qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, plus 8+ years in technology consulting, digital transformation, automation, AI or enterprise solution delivery. The role requires experience leading cross-functional AI or automation initiatives, facilitating discovery workshops, translating business requirements into solutions and delivering measurable outcomes. It also calls for knowledge of agentic AI, process automation, enterprise integration and architecture, human-in-the-loop design, governance and security, alongside strong stakeholder communication and leadership. A master’s degree is preferred, not required.
