As a Lead Deployment Engineer at Celonis, you will serve as the backbone of delivery, implementing Celonis solutions for enterprise customers by leveraging AI-augmented workflows. You will direct AI agents to build data models, process analyses, and operational solutions while applying your own judgment to validate outputs and ensure business relevance. This role focuses on translating customer business needs into technical specifications that AI agents can execute, moving beyond traditional manual consulting. Responsibilities include conducting business discovery workshops, defining project scope, configuring data pipelines, and leading value creation initiatives. You will also train customer users, document design decisions, and develop deep expertise in specific process domains like Supply Chain or Procure to Pay. Qualifications include a minimum of 8 years of experience in management or IT consulting, data/solution consulting, or process improvement. You must be proficient in PQL, SQL, and Python, with demonstrated AI fluency and experience using AI-assisted development tools. Strong business domain expertise, particularly with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, is highly valued. The role requires excellent consulting skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
