Cartesia is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team in Bangalore to advance the mission of building real-time multimodal intelligence. This role involves embedding directly with enterprise customers to deliver agentic voice AI solutions into production environments, maximizing customer success and revenue by turning core products into high-impact, deployed solutions. Responsibilities include designing, building, and deploying voice AI systems, leading end-to-end deployments, and navigating complex infrastructure across cloud, VPC, and on-prem environments. The engineer will diagnose and resolve integration failures, identify new use cases, and transform one-off solutions into repeatable reference architectures. Required qualifications include 4+ years of experience in production software systems, strong backend fundamentals, and experience with distributed services and containerized environments like AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes. Candidates must be comfortable navigating enterprise constraints such as security reviews and networking. Preferred qualifications include experience in forward-deployed or customer-facing engineering roles, familiarity with real-time systems, and experience deploying AI/ML systems into production. The role is based on-site in Bangalore, with a fast-paced, collaborative culture. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and equity package.
