Enterprise Architect

Microsoft is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Architect to join the Industry Solutions Delivery organization. This role involves shaping large-scale digital and AI transformation initiatives for strategic customers, acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders. The successful candidate will connect business strategy with cloud, data, AI, security, and enterprise applications to deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide technology strategies, target-state architectures, and multi-year transformation roadmaps.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and technology decision forums.
• Architect enterprise AI adoption frameworks, including responsible AI practices, evaluation approaches, and operational guardrails.
• Define AI-first programs utilizing generative AI, copilots, AI agents, and machine learning.
• Guide data platform modernization, cloud/hybrid-cloud strategy, and application modernization.
• Provide architecture leadership for complex, multi-workstream programs, ensuring design integrity and feasibility.
• Mentor architects and contribute to thought leadership within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology consulting, or leadership roles.
• Demonstrated leadership of enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect architecture choices to business outcomes.
• Excellent executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical proficiency in Azure (preferred), hybrid/multi-cloud environments, data architecture, and security frameworks.

Working Arrangement:

• This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office.
• Travel requirement: 25-50%.
