Honeywell is seeking an Embedded Engineer II to join their team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on the design, development, and debugging of embedded software and firmware, with a significant emphasis on video analytics, embedded AI, and MLOps workflows. Responsibilities include developing cross-platform GStreamer plugins, implementing inference runtimes, and managing AI workloads on edge hardware. The role also involves maintaining MLOps pipelines for model monitoring and retraining. Required Qualifications: Strong experience in Linux application development, proficiency in modern C++ (14/17/20), and solid Python experience. Candidates must have knowledge of distributed systems, message-bus architectures, and API design (REST/gRPC). Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, unit testing frameworks, and observability tools is essential. Experience with computer vision algorithms and inference runtimes like TensorRT or OpenVINO is required. Nice to Have: Background in physical security or surveillance analytics, experience with Ambarella SoCs, and integration experience with LLM/VLM models in real-time data pipelines.
