TransUnion is seeking a motivated Developer, AI Platform & Innovation to participate in the development and scaling of AI-powered capabilities across the enterprise. This role serves as a technical contributor responsible for implementing AI-enabled applications, developer tooling, platform services, and engineering frameworks that accelerate organizational adoption of artificial intelligence. You will work within platform and application layers, collaborating with engineering, product, and data science teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions. Responsibilities include building knowledge of TransUnion’s products and technology ecosystem, applying cloud-native architectures, and utilizing AI-assisted development practices to support engineering effectiveness. You will follow engineering standards and contribute to AI feature development under the guidance of senior engineers. This is a hybrid position requiring at least two days per week in the office. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of software engineering experience; exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI concepts; proficiency in Java, Python, C#, Go, or TypeScript; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in AI or Data Science; experience in fintech, credit reporting, or risk industries; exposure to LLMs, RAG, agentic AI architectures, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, MLOps, Kubernetes, and AI governance; experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Amazon Q; relevant cloud certifications.
