Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy production-grade AI and machine learning solutions, including applications using OpenAI, Gemini and other large language model platforms. Build data-driven models and apply statistical and machine learning methods to large datasets.
- Tune and evaluate models for accuracy, scalability, efficiency and business impact. Assess emerging technologies and third-party solutions against functional and non-functional requirements, and maintain model evaluation, monitoring and governance standards.
- Work with engineering, product, business and research teams on AI roadmaps and measurable outcomes. Explain analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, contribute to solution design, mentor peers and support AI engineering and MLOps practices.
Requirements and working approach:
- Strong experience applying data science, machine learning and AI to business problems; proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-Learn; expertise with Azure and/or AWS; statistical modelling, data analysis and problem-solving skills; and experience deploying AI/ML models to production. No minimum number of years or education requirement is stated.
- Understand software engineering and maintainable code practices, with familiarity in DevOps, CI/CD, deployment, testing and monitoring. Balance innovation with scalability, reliability and security, and collaborate across disciplines.
This is a hybrid role described as ‘Blended’, requiring office attendance at least three days per week; work arrangements can be discussed.
