About this role
The Cybersecurity AI Architect will play a defining role in securing AI technologies at onsemi, bridging the gap between AI, cloud, data, and cybersecurity. This role focuses on co-designing scalable, secure architectures that align technology, people, and processes to achieve business outcomes. Responsibilities include advising the AI Architecture Technical Committee, evaluating solution designs, assessing risks, and enabling safe AI adoption across the enterprise. Key duties involve facilitating collaborative design sessions, developing enterprise AI guardrails, and mentoring cross-functional teams. The architect will also identify opportunities to leverage AI for cybersecurity automation, anomaly detection, and threat intelligence, while ensuring secure integration with platforms like SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and XDR. Required qualifications include 8+ years in technology/cybersecurity with at least 4 years in architecture, experience designing AI-enabled architectures, and knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, SOC, ISO 27001). Proficiency in Python or PowerShell and automation tools like Terraform is required, along with familiarity with AI regulations and security standards. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or CRISC, and experience with AI governance frameworks. A BS/MS degree is preferred.
