Customer - GPS- Sales and Services - Agentic AI Platform- Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation

This Senior Consultant role is a hands-on Agentic AI Platform Engineer (SDE 3) position on Deloitte’s team building first-party delivery platforms and agentic tooling. The engineer owns a platform domain end to end, setting its architecture, roadmap and engineering standards while continuing to write code and guiding engineers across a multi-team delivery organization.

Responsibilities

• Define reusable patterns and reference implementations for agentic systems; review and direct engineering work, mentor colleagues on agent design and evaluation, and coordinate with delivery, security and platform teams through design reviews and written guidance.
• Build automated evaluation pipelines covering LLM-as-judge workflows, regression evaluations and guardrail testing. Diagnose failures involving prompts, tool selection, retrieval, latency and cost.
• Connect internal APIs and data sources to enable safe autonomous actions within the security and data-governance constraints of regulated and federal delivery environments.
• Develop TokenOps and cost-governance capabilities, including model routing, tiering, semantic caching and per-invocation cost attribution.

Required qualifications

• BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc in computer science, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university; 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of production Python and a compiled language, Go or Java, for infrastructure-grade services.
• End-to-end ownership of a technical domain or platform component, including directing or mentoring engineers. Hands-on experience with an LLM orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen or Claude SDK, and tool-integration patterns such as Model Context Protocol.
• Production experience with automated LLM/ML evaluation and guardrails; AWS Bedrock managed services or equivalent cloud AI services; vector databases, Docker, Kubernetes and secure API design. Strong communication and an ability to turn problems without established solutions into reusable patterns are required.

Preferred certifications: AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, or Azure AI Cloud Developer Associate. Listed locations are Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and Kolkata.
