AIML Solution Architect

Cognizant seeks an AIML Solution Architect to lead AI, machine learning, agentic AI and generative AI solutioning for North America Intelligence deals. The role is based in Bangalore, India, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account and sales teams to understand client objectives and develop tailored AIML and GenAI solutions. Present technical solutions and platform or product demonstrations to current and prospective clients.
• Lead technical responses to AIML and GenAI RFPs and RFIs, and present solutions in customer meetings, in person or virtually.
• Architect analytical applications for forecasting, prediction, segmentation, optimization, computer vision, speech analytics and text analytics using appropriate tools across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Design GenAI solutions that extend existing AIML applications or create new capabilities, using first-party, third-party and open-source large language models. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers implementing Responsible AI practices.
• Advise customers, pre-sales and delivery teams on AIML and GenAI platforms and solutions; provide AI thought leadership to senior management and executive teams.

Required qualifications

• Experience designing and developing AIML applications as a solution architect, including pre-sales experience driving the technical solution in the sales process. Hands-on experience building agentic and GenAI applications with large language models.
• Deep expertise designing AIML and GenAI solutions on at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Ability to handle large, complex RFPs and RFIs while collaborating with multiple service lines and platform vendors.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building and technical advisory skills, including the ability to explain complex AIML concepts to technical and executive audiences through slides, demonstrations and whiteboarding.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field. No minimum number of years of experience is stated.
