The AI Transformation Engineer will join a technically focused team at Dialpad to design, build, and maintain production-grade AI systems. This hands-on role involves developing multi-agent workflows, RAG applications, and LLM-powered services that resolve customer issues in real time. Responsibilities include leading technical implementations, architecting scalable backend services and APIs, improving system observability and performance, and defining engineering standards for AI development. The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders to translate problems into scalable solutions, evaluating new foundation models and prompting strategies, and building automated testing frameworks. The candidate will also mentor junior engineers and participate in architectural planning. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in software or AI engineering, strong Python development skills, and deep expertise in LLMs, agentic frameworks, and RAG system deployment. Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), containerization, and CI/CD practices is essential. Candidates must be available for overlap with the core team during morning IST hours.
