About this role
Synechron seeks a manager to lead the strategy, planning, delivery and governance of enterprise AI and Generative AI products and programs in Bengaluru - Bellandur (GTP), India. The role connects business objectives with AI opportunities and oversees initiatives from use-case discovery through production and measurement of outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define AI product vision, roadmaps, requirements, user stories, business cases and success metrics. Prioritize use cases against business value, data readiness, regulatory expectations and delivery capacity.
- Lead cross-functional programs across product, engineering, data, architecture, security, compliance, operations and business teams. Manage plans, budgets, resources, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies; report progress and decisions to senior leaders.
- Partner with clients, business stakeholders and technical specialists on workshops, solution choices and delivery trade-offs. Evaluate AI platforms and vendors for suitability, scalability, security, cost and operational support.
- Establish AI governance and review points covering privacy, compliance, model risk, evaluation, release readiness and production monitoring. Promote transparency, explainability, fairness, human oversight and sustainable, reusable AI capabilities.
- Define KPIs and track adoption, ROI, customer outcomes, operational efficiency and benefits against approved business cases.
Requirements
At least 10 years in product management, program management, digital transformation, technology delivery or a related field, including at least 3 years leading AI/ML or Generative AI initiatives. Candidates need experience with large cross-functional programs, product roadmaps, budgets, executive communication, vendors and Agile, Scrum and SAFe delivery. They must understand the AI/ML lifecycle, Generative AI applications, LLMs, prompt engineering, data readiness, AI governance and at least one enterprise AI platform such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI or Databricks. Experience in BFSI, healthcare, retail, technology or consulting is requested. Equivalent experience in AI transformation or related leadership may qualify. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, business management or a related field is required or preferred depending on applicable experience; no programming language is mandatory.
Preferred
Knowledge of Python, SQL, NoSQL, vector databases, RAG, embeddings, AI agents, MLOps and CI/CD; cloud-based AI transformation and regulated environments; an MBA, relevant AI certification or PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP or CSPO certification.
