AI ML Engineer (IT Infrastructure & Operations)

Analog Devices seeks an AI ML Engineer to build AI-powered solutions for its EDA/HPC infrastructure team. The role focuses on improving engineering productivity, automating operations and troubleshooting, and optimizing compute infrastructure that supports semiconductor design workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications in Python, including assistants, copilots, RAG systems and autonomous agents for infrastructure and engineering operations.
• Build agentic workflows for reasoning, planning, tool execution, remediation and orchestration. Connect RAG systems to vector databases and enterprise knowledge repositories, and use n8n to integrate automation with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to automate incident management, root-cause analysis and other operational workflows. Integrate AI applications with Linux servers, storage, networking, schedulers and monitoring tools across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Develop APIs and backend services; implement monitoring, logging, testing and governance controls for production AI systems. Use coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, and participate in architecture reviews and technology evaluations.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related field, plus 4–6 years of professional software development experience with Python and API development.
• Production experience building enterprise-grade agentic AI applications, chatbots, RAG systems and multi-agent systems; experience with vector databases, semantic search optimization, LangChain, LangGraph, n8n and AWS AgentCore.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills; knowledge of compute infrastructure, enterprise storage, networking and distributed systems; familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD. Experience training ML models using MLOps methods and working with cloud platforms such as Azure ML Workspace and AWS SageMaker.
• Troubleshooting, analytical, communication, teamwork and prioritization skills, with a customer-focused approach. Project management experience is a plus.
