AI Engineer - Senior Manager

The AI Engineer - Senior Manager will lead software and AI application development in PwC Acceleration Center India's Advisory practice, delivering solutions intended to support client digital transformation, business performance and user experience. The role works with global teams and clients. The posting specifies a full-time, 40-hour workweek in Bangalore, India; it does not state a remote or hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coding, testing and implementation of scalable applications, using technologies including Python and React Native. Work with enterprise application architecture teams and apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems.
• Direct and coach teams through complex projects; resolve obstacles to team performance, exercise judgment on escalation, and reinforce professional and technical standards.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to stakeholders, validate outcomes with clients, consider alternative perspectives and act on feedback. Collaborate with engineering and data science teams.
• Implement CI/CD practices to improve software development processes.

Required qualifications

• At least a bachelor's degree and at least 14 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications and capabilities:

• A field of study in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems or Software Engineering.
• Architectural design and implementation leadership, strategic thinking and effective cross-functional team management.
• Technical background in Python, LLMs, LangGraph, LangFlow and LangChain; experience delivering AI applications with RAG, vector databases and agent-based frameworks.
• Ability to promote AI application observability and optimization, implement CI/CD pipelines and AI-system observability using tools such as GitHub Actions and MLflow, and work with AI coding tools and frameworks.
