AI Engineer

LogicMonitor seeks an AI Engineer for its Edwin AI team in Bengaluru, India. The role develops and deploys AI-powered features for LogicMonitor’s observability platform, connecting large telemetry streams with AI-driven insights to improve IT automation, incident understanding and decision-making. The position is located in a Bangalore technology center; the posting does not specify a fixed on-site or hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize LLM-based solutions that produce human-readable incident reports, root-cause explanations and remediation suggestions.
• Use retrieval-augmented generation to surface relevant documentation, logs and knowledge-base information. Develop semantic search and context-aware retrieval to help IT teams find relevant data and metrics.
• Develop NLP models, generative AI solutions and AI-driven analytics; optimize AI models for real-time performance in distributed, cloud-native environments.
• Work with platform engineering, product, infrastructure and data science teams to integrate AI features aligned with customer needs, and stay current with AI and machine learning advances.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of AI/ML engineering experience focused on generative AI, AI-driven automation and NLP.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java or a similar language for model development and deployment; hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with embedding-based search, semantic retrieval and transformer models, including tools or models such as OpenAI and Hugging Face. Familiarity with microservices, REST APIs and cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

Familiarity with observability, ITOps or monitoring platforms.
