AI Developer

The AI Developer designs AI-enhanced solutions and business-process automation that connect SAP data, cloud data sources and local files. The role leads development of generative AI tools and bots, while also building predictive models and integrating AI services with business applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect integrations across SAP, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift and file-based inputs, including bidirectional data flows involving SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BW and external systems.
• Develop generative AI automation using services such as Amazon Bedrock, custom GPTs and Amazon Lex to interact with APIs, databases and back-end systems for real-time processing. Work with business and functional teams to define requirements and modularize processes for AI-assisted code generation.
• Build Python, VBA and Excel tools, dashboards, macros and interfaces to automate workflows. Develop, test and deploy machine-learning and statistical models for forecasting, regression and simulation.
• Establish coding standards, reusable modules, Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines; mentor junior Python developers. Monitor, debug and optimize solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems for security, availability and scalability, and document architecture and design decisions.
• Apply AI and cloud services to processes including Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay, and keep current with AI tools, LLMs and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on Python and VBA development; minimum 1 year using generative AI tools for coding and workflow automation; and at least 1 year working with AWS, GCP or Azure, including Lambda functions, APIs or microservices.
• Experience integrating business applications; knowledge of machine learning, data analytics, SQL, Python data libraries, cloud databases, chatbot development, AI-based API interaction, GitHub or GitLab, DevOps and CI/CD. Strong analytical, debugging and architectural skills and experience with agile, cross-functional and distributed teams are sought.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or an equivalent field.
