About this role
The AI Architect - Cross Functional designs fit-for-purpose AI solutions for client opportunities in Bangalore, India. The role translates client requirements into solution blueprints, technical architectures, delivery plans, estimates, pricing inputs, statements of work (SOWs), and materials for handoff to delivery teams. It works with AI consultants, principal architects, engineering and delivery teams, finance, commercial and sales teams, and ecosystem partners.
Responsibilities
- Define solution scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks, success criteria, technical architecture, and implementation paths from MVP to scale.
- Estimate effort across roles, skills, locations, tools, platforms, and delivery dependencies; develop timelines, phases, and milestones.
- Work with delivery, finance, and commercial teams on pricing inputs, deal economics, margin assumptions, and commercial options. Define SOW deliverables, acceptance criteria, scope boundaries, and change-control considerations.
- Assess feasibility, staffing, integration complexity, data readiness, security, governance, and operational support. Incorporate partner platforms and models when relevant.
- Support client technical questions, demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, proposal defense, and transition into delivery. Contribute reusable estimates, patterns, bills of materials, workplans, and lessons learned to the global AI go-to-market knowledge base. Success is measured through supported AI deal value and win rate, utilization, estimate quality, commercial accuracy, feasibility, and delivery handoff.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years in solution architecture, technology consulting, software engineering, data engineering, systems integration, presales, or delivery; at least 3 years designing or delivering AI, data, analytics, ML, generative AI, agentic AI, or automation solutions; and at least 1 year of hands-on or solutioning experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience producing blueprints, estimates, delivery and staffing plans, SOW inputs, and pricing or commercial inputs. Working knowledge of cloud, data, integration, application architecture, security, responsible AI, governance, and operations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred
Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Google/Gemini, Databricks, Snowflake, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and MLOps/LLMOps tooling; large pursuits, proposals, pricing reviews, or delivery mobilization; and relevant AI/ML, cloud, data-platform, architecture, or security certifications. Analytical, commercial, communication, collaboration, and client presentation skills are preferred. Travel may be required for client and internal engagements.
