Advanced AI Engr

Honeywell seeks an Advanced AI Engr in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, to provide expert technical leadership in designing and developing AI algorithms, models and systems. The role serves as a subject matter expert on AI projects and guides the adoption of methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex AI solutions for business needs, with attention to scalability, efficiency and robustness.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate solutions into existing systems and processes. Work with product managers and business leaders to define requirements and align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including project planning, resource allocation and progress monitoring.
• Mentor AI engineers and support continuous learning and technical excellence. People-leadership responsibilities include recruiting talent, developing successors, and supporting retention and engagement.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• At least 5 years of experience managing AI-related technology projects and mastery-level expertise in machine learning or related AI technology.

Preferred qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field; proficiency in Python, TensorFlow and PyTorch; leadership and management skills; agile development experience; success leading cloud development projects; adaptability in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail; and problem-solving ability.
